What we collect, and what we don't.
Mirror is built around your wallet, not your identity. This page explains exactly what we store and why.

What we collect
Mirror does not ask for your name, email address, or identity documents. We store:
- Wallet addresses: your connected wallet and the address of your trading key.
- Copy settings and activity: which wallets you copy, your allocation and risk limits, and a log of mirrored orders, fills, skips, and errors.
- Fees, points, and referrals: fees charged on your orders, trading volume used for points, your referral code, and who referred you.
- Technical data: IP address and request metadata in server logs and at our CDN, used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.
- Visit analytics: for each visit, your IP address, approximate location (country, region, city) as reported by our CDN, browser type, the pages you view, the site that linked you here, any campaign tags or referral code in the link you arrived on, and, once you connect one, your wallet address. We link this to a random visitor ID stored in your browser so we can tell returning visits apart.
Hyperliquid activity is public on-chain. Anything we show about a wallet's trades or balance is already public on Hyperliquid.
If you joined Mirror's former waitlist, we still hold the email address you gave us then. Email us and we will delete it.
What stays in your browser
Your trading key's private key, your saved wallets, your onboarding progress, and a random visitor ID used for visit analytics are stored in your browser's local storage. The private key is never sent to Mirror's servers. Orders are signed in your browser and only the signed order is relayed. Clearing your browser data deletes all of this.
How we use it
- To run copy trading and show your portfolio, history, and fees.
- To calculate points, referral credit, and rebate estimates.
- To understand where visitors come from and which referral links and campaigns work.
- To detect abuse, such as fake referrals (for example, several wallets claiming referrals from the same IP address) or attacks on the service.
- To meet legal obligations, including sanctions compliance.
How long we keep it
We keep copy settings, activity logs, fee records, and referral records for as long as your wallet uses Mirror, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, dispute, and legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data about you, or to object to how we use it. Email [email protected] with your wallet address. We may ask you to sign a message to prove you control it. We cannot delete public Hyperliquid data, and we may keep records we are legally required to keep.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
